Cost: FREE.
You can evaluate your home energy use all by yourself. Just go online, take a quick survey, and receive a FREE home energy evaluation. Do it soon and you can receive a $5 credit on your CPS Energy bill.
To get started you’ll need:
- CPS Energy account number
- Valid email address
You receive:
- Free home energy report
- Energy score
- Savings estimate
- Steps you need to take to be more energy efficient

Home Energy Evaluation
Cost: $25 (a $200 value) for homes up to 3,500 sq ft with a maximum of 2 air-conditioning systems.*
For a more thorough assessment of your energy usage, CPS Energy will have a trained Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) certified professional conduct an in-home energy evaluation. To qualify for the Energy Savers program and receive an in-home evaluation your home must be built before the year 2000.
You receive:
- A home energy report outlining your home’s energy usage
- With a prioritized list of cost-effective upgrades
- Low-cost and no-cost options for energy savings
- Information on low interest financing
- Participant Fee: $25.00 due upon participant receipt of the home energy report
*Square footage above 3,500 will cost $0.25 per square foot. Each additional air-conditioning system will cost $125. Additional charges will be paid directly to home energy evaluator.
